Public opinion concerning judiciary and laws has a close relationship with the public，and the subjects of the events have been the focus of public opinion. Whether the subjects of judiciary and law public opinions can work effectively concerns the stability and unity of the society，and it may also affect the process of the legal society construction. The Public Opinion Research Laboratory of Shanghai Jiaotong University selected 196 hot public events involving judiciary and law in 2011-2013 as the sample based on the heat index of public opinion. Through the comparison of the longitudinal data for the three years and the analysis of the typical cases，the investigation explored the causes and solutions to the public events involving judiciary and laws，and provided suggestions on the coping strategies.
