Finance means a lot to the development of Chongqing’s economy. This report analyzes the Chongqing financial development from the following factors：financial development scale，financial development structure，financial deepening，the folk financial development （fields that formal finance cannot meet） and financial supervision capacity （an important mechanism to prevent the risk of local finance）. The data shows that social financing scale in Chongqing is developing steadily；the number and scale of banking institutions are expanding；the credit is growing steadily and rapidly；the stock financing fell sharply，but the business is relatively stable；the insurance processes well. FSR，FIR，loan to deposit ratio are above national average，but there still are rooms for improvement.
