Changzhou Island has richly endowed resources of nature，human and history. This paper starts from the study on green-calm life theory，and then by summarizing the features and distinctive position of Changzhou Island and analyzing the necessity of developing green-calm island，proposes the guiding ideology，general idea，developing strategy and future blueprint of green-calm island，with which to establish Changzhou Island a green and relaxing slow island.
