Firstly,development characteristics of Guangzhou public transport were analyzed in this paper from the aspects of public transport capacity and traffic volume.Followed that,based on the data of Guangzhou bus route network,with the aid of GIS software platform,this paper analyzes the characteristics of public transport line network in Guangzhou.At last,developing strategic measures are proposed.It is pointed out that the public transportation system in Guangzhou should be developed by taking urban railway transportation as structure,normal public transportation as body,other transportation as additional.The main road and the branches should be combined to form the multilevel system. <<
