In 2013，due to the implementation of austerity reforms and the slashing of public sectors，the Samaras administration suffered a vote of no confidence. The rise of the extreme political forces and frequent violent cases resulted in further instability of the society. Meanwhile，the Greek economic recession slowed down and the dawn of recovery was on the way.The budget deficit decreased significantly，but public debt remained at high levels. Initiatives for write-down on the Greek debt and a third round of bailout stirred controversies again in the European Union.
