The new energy industries have developed rapidly in the European countries over the last ten years with EU policy support. Today，the new energy sectors such as photovoltaic energy，wind energy and bio-energy are playing very important roles in guaranteeing EU economic growth，environmental protection and energy security. EU Energy Road Map 2050 shows that Europe will continue to keep its leadership in some of the new energy sectors in the next 30 years.
