Generations of hard work that embodied the wisdom and endeavor of the Chinese communists and the Chinese people formulated a relatively complete system of ethnic policies in the country. But，with the economic development，the development gap become obvious between the national minority regions and the eastern region. Therefore，it is necessary to have a research on the current nationalpolicy for getting a perfect one. This paper analyzes the minority economic policy’s development process of evolution from the new democratic revolution to the present，and describes the concept，origin，basic contents and policy evolutions of the Chinese minority economic policy.Through the review of development achievements and existing problems in this policy，countermeasures are put forward to the Chinese minority region economic policy.
