This article summarizes the progress made by China in the development of the rule of law in 2010，especially in the fields of legislation，government administration and judicial activities，analyzes the existing problems and their causes in legislative quality，ideas and methods of government administration，the current administrative system，government accountability，and justice for the People，and looks ahead to the development of the rule of law in China in 2011.
