In 2012, in order to promote the agglomeration development of service industries, enhance the urban's development strength and radiation capacity, foster new economic growth point, and promote the coordinated and scientific development of new urbanization, new industrialization and new agricultural modernization, Henan started to plan and construct the Central Business District (CBD) and/or the Characteristic Commercial Area (CCA) in most of the cities, and gained remarkable achievements. However, there are still some problems such as unclear orientation and unobvious features. It is suggested that, in the next step, Henan Province should accelerate the construction of the CBD and CCA through clearing industrial orientation, strengthening to foster characteristics, promoting commercial investment, improving infrastructure, expanding financing channels, strengthening human resources support and land support ability and optimizing the development environment. <<
