Food safety risk communication is very crucial to the decision-making process of food safety risk management, and the complete food safety risk communication mechanism has been established in many developed countries. However, the food safety risk communication mechanism has not attracted the due attention in China, chiefly represented by the lack of the top-level design of risk communication, incorrect media report to mislead the public, the public being sensitive to food safety risks and easily influenced by the unverified information, lack of experts of food safety risk communication, etc.. Considering the issues regarding the government, media, the public and disciplinary construction, we proposed the opinions and recommendations for the government and non-government levels. <<
