Shortage of medical device regulatory professionals has become a bottleneck restricting implementation and development of China’s medical device regulation work. The article is to introduce the education and training of medical device regulatory professionals abroad，analyze the present condition and main problems of the medical device regulatory professionals in China，and suggest China should learn from other countries’ experience and establish China’s training system for medical device regulatory professionals.
