近年来,经济型酒店异军突起,成为酒店业发展的热点。广州是省会城市和华南地区中心城市,经济型酒店具有广阔的发展空间,国外品牌经济型酒店不断进入广州市场,本土品牌经济型酒店竞争也不断升温。本文在分析广州经济型酒店发展的现状、解析存在的问题的基础上,借鉴国外知名经济型酒店的成功经验,提出了广州本土品牌经济型酒店发展的战略思路。
<<Recently,economy hotels have become one of the hottest sort in hotel industry. As a provincial capital,the most important business centre and tourist city in south of China,Guangzhou has a huge and precious opportunity of hosting the Asian Games,which provides a comparative large prospect for economy hotels in the near future as well. Under this situation,economy hotels abroad have been entering into this market continually and some native brand economy hotels compete fiercely,which eventually make this study urgent and important. This paper firstly analyzes the status and existing problems of economy hotels in Guangzhou,followed with the summary of the strategic development suggestion on the native brand economy hotels. Then,taking reference from some famous foreign brand economy hotels’ developing experience to draw some measures on how to promote the strategies.
