This paper analyses the composition and characteristics of Guangzhou services industry in recent years according to the qualitative study and quantitative study as well as detailed data. Meanwhile，considers the transformation of services composition’s effect on the whole development of economy and discusses the problems of the services composition through comparing to other main cities in domestic. Finally，makes some countermeasures as following：propose to development productive services under the opportunity of modern industrial construction；promote traditional advanced services like trade and restaurant；open wider to the outside world in services；develop the economy and strengthen the function of the central city；expand the scope of the services；build the good environment for better development of services.
