The article analysis the influence on ecosystems after “5·12” Sichuan earthquake. From the ecology perspective and a large number of cases，it draws the conclusion that the post disaster ecological succession can be short-term and secondary succession and the ecological restoration should be dominated by nature force. It also provided specific suggestion on the ecological restoration in the post-disaster reconstruction and environmental protection.
