May 12，2008 Sichuan earthquake had not only caused serious damage to many large-scale projects and serious environmental impacts as well as secondary disaster threat but also had given us a profound lesson on how can people live in harmony with nature. In the massive scale investment in post-disaster reconstruction and development of expanding domestic demand，can we truly get the work done with the mind of people-oriented，respect for nature，balanced planning，and scientific development has become a rather severe touchstone. We need to give them serious introspection.
