The impacts of current financial crisis on employment in China have been complicated and confusing-the vertiginous changes in employment situation of migrant workers，different features of impacts between urban local and migrant workers，appearance of labor shortage under the overall employment pressure and etc. By employing an analytical framework of “cyclical unemployment-cum-labor market segregation”，this essay tries to unscramble the above phenomena and propose policy recommendations.
