This article analyzes the legal provisions，nature and implementation issues of five administrative compulsory measures in monitoring activities of food and drug. These are sequestration，compulsory archive，ordered recall，sample to be tested，stop or temporarily suspend sales. Based on the analyses，the article further summarizes five administrative compulsory measures，according to the application scope，objects and conditions，and to whether immediacy and the differences among the different impacts on administrative counterparts. Meanwhile it explores the problems，which are needed to be resolved and existed in the legislation concerning the measures in supervision and administration of food and drug.
