2008年，各地政府扩大政府公共服务，积极解决城市流动儿童义务教育问题，采取了一些新的举措，形成不同的解决模式。一些城市并探索向农民工子女开放城市中等职业教育和普通高中教育，关注提高打工子弟学校的教育质量。
<<Many local governments enlarged public service and solve the problem of the children of rural migrant workers’ education actively in 2008. Different ideas of mainly inflood-city lead to different model of solutions. Some cities try to open secondary vocational education and high school to the children of rural migrant workers，and pay more attention to the education quality of migrant -worker-running school.
