After the Wenchuan Earthquake，the education systems were damaged badly in the earthquake-affected areas；many schoolhouses were ruined and caused a great number of casualties. All levels governments promoted the post-disaster education recovery through various methods，and with these efforts，all of the primary and middle schools reopened in the earthquake-affected areas on the September 1st. After the 100 day’s disaster-relief battle，the education reconstruction entered the new period.
