On general city women's life quality in 2012 scores 68.9. Ten cities surveyed are ranked in the following order: Shanghai, Changsha, Qingdao and Chengdu, Guangzhou, Beijing, Dalian, Ningbo, Harbin and Lanzhou. Only 21.9 percent of interviewees are satisfied with their monthly income and 25.5 percent interviewees are happy with their family income. The majority have their own housing (92.2 percent). They work on average 8.4 hours a day and 96.4 percent interviewees feel they have working pressure. Those who are satisfied with their jobs account for 46.7 percent. Among the interviewees, 61.5 percent consider themselves to be healthy; 61.4 percent feel they are calm and even tempered; 84.6 percent interviewees say their family is harmonious; and 68.9 percent interviewees claim they are happy. Their sense of happiness scores 76, and the happiest thing is a harmonious family and all members in the family are safe and healthy. They worry most about rising prices. They score city environment and city management 61.5 and 65.4 respectively. In the past five years, 68.2 percent interviewees claim their life quality has been improved. Their biggest expectation for the government is to reform income distribution system and raise salaries.
