China’s coke exportations meet more than half of the world demands. （More than half of the world’s coke demands depend on China’s exportation.） As “the food” of iron and steel industry，presently，coke industry faces extraordinary changes and challenges. It is necessary to macroscopically study and grasp the coke industrial policies in order to confirm China’s strategic status，guarantee its discourse right in international energy trade and further promote coke industrial healthy development. This article is based on the analysis of coke industry’s economic operating situation，main problems，opportunities and challenges，through proposing the development tendency and policy suggestions to promote the coking industry and coke exportation harmonious and stable development.
