As the basic component of society，individual citizen directly takes part in the social economic activities which are controlled by their consciousness. The awakening of citizen consciousness can not only raise their motivation to protect their own rights，but also promote their personal sense of social responsibility. In order to speed up the enterprise citizenship construction，we should raise awareness of individual citizens. Firstly，this article introduces the formation and development of citizen consciousness of our country. Then，we figure out the importance to promote the citizen consciousness of entrepreneurs，employees and consumers. Lastly，we make some advice on how to promote the individual citizen consciousness.
