Entering into the new century，building a socialist harmonious society has become the center of the social-economic development. The concept of enterprise citizenship reflects the idea of harmonious society in micro-economic level. In one hand，the country provides a variety of conditions for the development of enterprises，on the other hand，the enterprises have the obligations to protect the interests of employees，protect the environment，promote community development，push forward charities and so on.Firstly，the article introduces the development of the concept of enterprise citizenship in China. Then，we write the significance of enterprise citizenship building for enterprises themselves and harmonious society. Finally，we unveil the direction of enterprise citizenship in China.
