China’s electric power industry actively responded to the challenges of the international financial crisis，which seized opportunities，by optimizing the power structure，strengthening management and energy-saving，emission reduction achieved remarkable results.Our government further used policies to guide the direction of the power industry to low-carbon development.The national electric power construction and investment structure continued to speed up the adjustment.On one hand was the growing capacity，on the other hand，hydropower，nuclear power，wind power and other clean energy grew rapidly.Investment in large-capacity thermal power，high efficiency units launched has become the main equipment.In total electricity generation，hydropower increased the proportion.Many nuclear power projects started.The entire power supply system went to a high diversity of low-carbon energy-saving direction.
