本文分析了近年来中国城市公用事业的发展。近年来，伴随着高速的城市化，城市公用事业在投资、供给与消费等方面均呈较高的增长态势。我国政府加强了公用企业市场化、完善公用品价格形成机制、完善公用事业监管机制等方面的改革。本文分析了公用事业面临着几大挑战：公用事业的供求矛盾仍然存在；资源环保问题带来了新一轮涨价压力；地区间发展不平衡；居民收入差距增大影响公用事业的发展；资源环保压力增大。城市公用事业改革缺乏总体目标和统筹考虑。一方面，放松管制、打破垄断引入竞争的改革推进不够；另一方面现有的民营化改革的弊端逐渐显露。本文最后提出了我国公用事业的发展展望与对策建议。
<<This paper provides in-depth analyses on the development of urban public utilities of China in recent years.Tegether with the tigh-speed urbanation in China，the investment，output and consumption of urban public utilities have increased quickly.Also governments all around China have carried out reforms on public utilities privatization，output pricing of public utilities，inspection of public utilities.Even though，urban public utilities of China still face several chanlleges：supply difficulties，development unblance betwen areas，price rising caused by resouces supply，environment protecting requirement.We need to pushup dereguration，enforce competition，avoid disadvantage of privatization in urban public utilities.At the end of this paper some suggestions are proposed.
