as an important energy base in China,the west region seriously restricts the economic development by the resource consumption emissions of carbon dioxide. We analysis the development of carbon finance in western region,according to the carbon emissions and the quantity of credit in 2008-2011. We can conclude that the unit credit carbon emission efficiency in west region gradually improved,however the credit structure is serious unbalanced between each province. Finally we put forward suggestions to develop the carbon finance in west region. Our study has a lot to do with national credit policy. <<
