In this study，we firstly analyse characteristics of successful female entrepreneurs’ entrepreneurial motivation on the basis of semi-structured interviews，and further through the questionnaire empirical research，we conduct a local study about female entrepreneurial motivation.Questionnaire results show that the female potential entrepreneurship motivation can be formed by free motivation，survival motivation，ideal motivation，and opportunity motivation in four dimensions.The questionnaire has good reliability and validity，so it can be used in the evaluation about the motive of the female.The empirical research found that，unlike the past，female entrepreneurial motivation showing a trend of diversity and to be younger women，they are more initiative and enthusiasm in the entrepreneurial motivation because they suffer less traditional gender constraints.
