Jinnan region is located in the southeast of Shanxi Province，with Hebei to the east，and facing Qin Yu over the Yellow River to the southwest.The area includes the city of Yuncheng，Jincheng and Changzhi，the regional characteristics are pretty obvious.Among them，Yuncheng is an agriculture area，and also an important part of the base of heavy chemical engineering in Shanxi.Jincheng and Changzhi are traditional resource-based cities and they had a significant heavy industry structure.The region has a total area of 37460 square kilometers，and the total number of 10.8557 million people，accounting for about 30% of the total province.GDP amounts to 340.83 billion yuan，accounting for about 28.4% of the total cost of the production in the province.In recent years，with the rapid advance of industrialization urbanization，the regional economy makes a remarkable increase of economic comprehensive strength，and the urbanization level has improved significantly.But compared with the national average level，there is still a huge gap between them.There also exists many other serious problems in the process of development of irrational industrial structure，urbanization lagging behind industrialization.How to promote the fast development of urbanization in the region and even in a longer period of time in the future under the new situation is a major issue.
