The wide application of new techniques provides advanced opportunity for the development of Intelligent Port. On the basis of discussing the technology of Internet and Internet of Things（IOT），considering the historical background of surging development of Data Platform and E-commerce，this article dedicates to analyze the situation and problems that Port of Guangzhou encounters in the process of improving the management and public service using the new generation information technology，and then puts forward to countermeasures of GuangZhou Intelligent Port development.
