本文在测度广州辐射腹地范围、广州与周边区域经济关系和空间相关关系分析的基础上，认为广州与周边城市的区域经济关系不是简单的二元空间结构，即中心—外围关系，而主要有四类区域经济关系：广州—深圳是中心交互型；广州—佛山、东莞、中山、惠州、清远是邻域渗透型；广州—汕头、湛江、韶关是次中心转移型；广州—其他城市是中心与边缘扩散型。
<<On the base of measuring GuangZhou radiation hinterland range and regional economic relationships between GuangZhou and surrounding cities，this article comes up with four types of regional economic relationships：GuangZhou—ShenZhen center interaction；neighborhood penetration such as GuangZhou—Foshan，Dongguan，HuiZhou and Qianyuan；sub-central transfer between GuangZhou and ShanTou，ZhanJiang and ShaoGuan；core-periphery with others.
