Automobile industry is an important part of advanced manufacturing. After nearly 15 years of development，Guangzhou automobile industry has become a pillar industry，with the city’s biggest car production for many years among the top，and formed a relatively complete industrial chain，as one of the most important economic development engine. In this paper，the development of Guangzhou automobile industry is analyzed，and some countermeasures are put forward.
