Improving the service of the health sector is an important part of social construction. Currently，compared to other places，the overall health care resources in Beijing are relatively abundant and the public health service system is rather developed，but there are still some problems like the uneven distribution of medical resources，high medical costs，difficult access to the medical services in large hospitals，inadequate input of medical resources and the urban-rural differences in health infrastructures，etc. In line with the idea of meeting the people’s needs and serving the people，this paper suggests that the direction for the construction of public service in the medical field should be pointed towards the integration of health care system，removal of profit of the public health care institutions，assurance of community health service by the government，urbanization of rural medical and health services and the decentralization of health care resources. <<
