Although the discipline of social work in universities has developed vigorously in China，it still faces some employment difficulties partly attributed to the underdevelopment of social work professions and philanthropy in China，which leads to a lack of newly increased job opportunities for social work majors. Meanwhile，due to historical reasons，there are some difficulties for the replacement of the original social work posts in the government，which makes it hard for the social work graduates to find a job in the government. Furthermore，low salaries of relevant jobs and moderate ability of some graduates are also factors for the employment difficulties. To solve this problem，it is necessary for the government to increase the financial input，provide social work practice with policy support，promote the development of civil organizations，and accelerate the building of the access system of social work professions. In addition，the professional education in social work departments should be strengthened and the quality of social work graduates should be increased. <<
