Public service is the core competency of the modern government,and it also profoundly impacts citizens’ subjective well-being.The study will explore the association between residents’ public service satisfaction and subjective well-being.Results showed that the general public service satisfaction correlated to satisfaction with social security,social safety,public transportation,education quality,medication service,and price level;general public service satisfaction significantly impact subjective well-being,which varied among different city,income,age,gender,and occupation groups;among the six perspectives of public service,price level,social security,and education quality significantly influenced residents’ subjective well-being.
