文化创意产业的集聚机制、空间分异、集聚模式是文化创意产业实践探讨的重要主题，也是当前文化创意产业研究领域备受关注的课题。2013年，北京市提出整合文化创意产业“集聚区”，规划建设“功能区”，这代表着北京市对于文化创意产业集聚模式新的思考和探索。
<<The exploration on agglomeration mechanism，spatial heterogeneity and aggregation models of cultural industry are important topics in industrial practice，and also are hot research topics that attracted the attention of the researchers in relevant areas currently. In 2013，Beijing government proposed to integrate cultural industrial “clusters” and carry out the planning and construction of “functional districts”.
