Through interviewing with the young people working in party and government agencies，state owned enterprises，public institutions，foreign owned companies and foreign-Chinese joint ventures，private firms，this paper explores in detail young people’s understandingof housing，their current housing conditions and their aspirations for housing in mega-cities，and generalizes six major housing problems faced by youth，so as to facilitate effort to solve the housing problems faced by youth.
