This article considers housing problem faced by young talents in mega-cities and the administration’s wish to keep talents from leaving. Via systematic bibliography research，the article clarifies the motive of willingness to reside，draws up a logical framework of affecting factors，and analyzes characteristics of young talents’ willingness to reside. According to the survey data and preliminary discussion materials，this article explores the influence of housing on young talents’ decision to stay from various perspectives，such as the type of housing，the condition of the house，renting，and environment of the residence. The research concludes that housing indeed exerts a profound influence on young talents’ willingness to reside.
