Based on the connotation of performance-based evaluation of science popularization projects，this report makes a detailed analysis on the index system and evaluation of relevant projects at home and abroad.Through describing the status of the evaluation index system，this paper analyzes the necessity of building the index system and builds two types of evaluation systems（three-class system and grading system）on the basis of actual requirement，which aims to offer reference for the evaluation of science popularization projects.Lastly，this report gives fictitious examples to illustrate the practicality，and offers some food for thought on the evaluation of science popularization projects.
