2012年，江苏城乡文化消费总量增长处于第7位，人均值增长处于第6位。景气评价排行结果：江苏城乡在省域横向测评中，2012年景气指数处于第1位；在自身纵向测评中，2000～2012年景气指数处于第1位，2005～2012年景气指数处于第1位，2010～2012年景气指数处于第14位，2011～2012年景气指数处于第13位。
<<In 2012，Jiangsu ranked the 7th in the increase of the total cultural consumption in urban and rural areas and the 6th in the growth of per capita value. The rankings of the status evaluation are as follows：in the lateral evaluation among various provinces，Jiangsu ranked the 1st；in vertical evaluation itself，Jiangsu ranked the 1st，1st，14th and 13th during the periods of 2000-2012，2005-2012，2010-2012 and 2011-2012 respectively.
