With the microblog increasing influence on Chinese society，more and more local governments and officials registered microblogs to deal with public affairs.How does governmental microblog make an influence on governmental management and social development？As a descriptive research，Yinchuan governmental microblog acts as a subject for this study.Integrated methods of observation analysis，interviews，content analysis have been used to explore the microblog practice effect.After reviewing the development of governmental microblog in Yinchuan，analysis will be developed into government information public，interaction between government and the people，as well as public supervision.Based on the theory of governance，which contains elements such as transparency，responsibility，effectiveness，response，etc.，I drew a conclusion：governmental microblog promote a city’s good governance.Meanwhile，governmental microblog plays an active part in building E-government，compelling social reform，promoting social management innovation as well as cultivating civil society.
