Restrictions of social work dual relationships are an important part of professional ethics，which has been controversial. Scholars believe that dual relationships may affect the professional relationship and result in exploitation of clients with injuries，should be set clear，appropriate boundaries，and take measures to protect the interests of clients. The frontline social workers think that the development of social work in China at present is difficult to avoid dual relationships. Neither the differences with relationships of power will be abused nor become exploitative relationships. There are exceptions in dual relationships.If handled well，the dual relationships may also have a constructive role. The restrictions of dual relationships in the western social work ethics are not completely suitable for Chinese culture，which should be localized.
