As a key part of modern service industry，modern logistics is the guarantee of promoting the competitiveness of enterprises and a country.As the foundation of logistics development，traffic transportation is a crucial carrier of logistics as well as vital element throughout the whole process of supply chain. Thus，in order to further push forward economic development，it is indispensable to renovate and upgrade the traditional traffic service，and to accelerate the development of modern logistics. Based on the current situations of traffic transportation and modern logistics，this report analyzes the special experience of developed countries，and systematically expounds corresponding measures and suggestions for the transformation form traffic service to modern logistics in China.
