The industrial structure and employment structure in Wuhan Urban agglomeration are slightly better than the same period in Hubei Province and the Nation，but inferior to the Yangtze River Delta，Pearl River Delta and Bohai Bay Urban agglomeration. Now，in Wuhan Urban agglomeration，the process of integration and the expansion of the scale of competitive industries are speeding up；the chain of Key industry is extended；the industrial distributes to each other and develop in the direction of difference；the industry organizations develop to clusters；the docking of CEEUSRO and the mechanism for cooperation of science and education preliminarily formed. All of above are providing the impetus for integration of industry in Wuhan Urban agglomeration. At the same time，some questions exists in the industry integration of Wuhan Urban agglomeration such as small scale of industrial clustering，the low degree of specialization and the division of labor，the lack of the competitive ability and an effective regional environment for innovation and regional innovation networks，lack of coordination of integration and so on. It is necessary to change the concept of development，promote the industry to enhance the integration efforts；find the path in reality to the breakthrough of institutional obstacles and grasp the role of the Government’s focus；make enterprises to play a main role in promoting the integration of resources and industrial development；strengthen the function of integrated services of Wuhan and play its role of stimulating；promote the investment and financing system and tax system reformation actively；establish a strong institutions to promotion to build a systematic mechanism for regional cooperation，promote regional innovation system and strengthen the dynamic competitive advantage.
