This paper reviewed the research on the history of Qing Dynasty and Korea by Chinese academic circle in recent 16 years. The research mainly focused on these topics：the relations between Qing Dynasty and Korea before Qing Dynasty entered into Shanhai Pass，especially on the emperor Huang taiji period；the policy of Qing Dynasty toward Korea after Qing Dynasty entered into Shanhai Pass；the ideas and the policy of Korea toward Qing Dynasty；the cultural exchanges between Qing Dynasty and Korea；the border affairs between Qing Dynasty and Korea；Li Hongzhang and Yuan Shikai’s effects on the relations between the two countries. On the basis of the analysis，this paper put forward some suggestions. We should enhance the research on these topics such as the political relations between the two countries in the middle of Qing Dynasty，the changing political relations between the two countries in the late Qing Dynasty，the cultural exchange between the two countries in the late Qing Dynasty，the maritime trade and business across the borders；the negotiation and cooperation on the border affairs and the compiling and examining of the historical materials and etc.
