This paper deals with the changes of characteristics of Chinese visual culture in the traditional age. At that time，everyone would refrain himself from seeing the immoral and indecorous things，such as holding a fan in his hand in order to keep his eyes off any immoral attraction. Now people would watch anything on the screens of TV，PC and the advertisements. The eyes get their freedom，however there are still restrictions from the power，the capital and the culture behind screens.
