Regional integration progress was the main development of Asia-Pacific economic relations in 2012. TPP developed quickly and had four round negotiations in 2012, with Mexico and Canada formally taking part in the negotiation. China-Japan-South Korea FTA negotiation had been decided to be initiated in leaders meeting, but the territory disputes between China and Japan, South Korea and Japan would delay the negotiation process. Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership is dominated by ASEAN and will be formally open for negotiation at the end of 2012. Europe-Asia Pacific cooperation proposal is put forward by Russian in the 2012 APEC Summit, which is still in the proposal stage and has no essential progress now.
