This paper adopts 11 indicators from three aspects such as economic participation and resource sharing，income and social security，employment structure and occupational status to evaluate the status of gender equality and women’s development of national and regional economic area from 2005 to 2010. It finds that the situation of gender equality and women’s development has been improved. Moreover，the imbalance of such development has been improved.
