Basing on the family and community，Women’s Federation in Shaanxi and the Volunteer Association from Mothers’Environmental Protection have been working on the cultivation of“Mothers’Environmental Demonstration Forest”and advocation of energy-saving and low-carbon lifestyle. These actions aim to construct“CH4 Energy Community”in rural areas，promote water-saving agriculture，and establish effective programme to improve the capability of rural women cadres in constructing low-carbon villages. These efforts have enhanced women’s capability of environmental protection，and therefore effectively improved the living conditions of rural women.
