The All-China Women’s Federation（ACWF）and the Ministry of Health started to work on the promotion of the free“Two Cancers”（breast cancer and cervical cancer）project for women living in rural areas in 2009. This project has been listed among the national key projects of public health services. Benefiting from the promotion of this project，the average health level of women in rural areas has been improved. This project has also enhanced the internal cohesion of ACWF，advanced the public health services level and established socialized working mechanism. All of these achievements bring benefit to millions of women in rural areas and their families.
