Set on December 1，2010 as the standard time，All-China Women’s Federation and the National Bureau of Statistics together organized the implementation of the Third Survey on Women’s Social Status in China. This report presents the preliminary analysis of the national data in relation to ten areas in the overall conditions of women’s social status in China. This report also describes the main situations of five typical groups，refines and summarizes the eight great improvements and six major concerns and challenges，and finally puts forward policy recommendations.
